Bharatnatyam is one of the ancient and most popular classical dance forms from South India. In this art form, male and female dancers usually wear costumes that represent different Hindu gods and goddesses. The dance performances include many hand gestures, facial expressions, as well as eye movements, which are used to convey emotions such as anger or love to the audience. Here are some of the bharatnatyam dance events conducted by the Mudra Dance Studio.
